PolyCert Food auditor training

The training module prepares auditors to assess recycled food-contact plastic operations against Regulation (EU) 2022/1616. It is required before an auditor can be listed on the PolyCert Food register.

Register on the website

Create your PolyCert Food account to begin the auditor pathway.

STEP 2

Purchase the training

Pay the one-time €300 training fee, invoiced through your certification body.

STEP 3

Attend the training

Watch the training video and fill in the form below.

STEP 4 (OPTIONAL)

Join the auditor register

Opt in to be listed in the public PolyCert Food auditors directory.

What the training covers

Regulation basics

What Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 requires and what it means for recycled food-contact plastics.

Traceability

Chain-of-custody records from recycled input through to certified output.

Quality assurance

Assessing the documented QA system across recycling and conversion.

Critical control points

Identifying and testing CCPs across the process.

Conducting audits

Stage 1 & 2 initial audits, and annual surveillance.

Recertification & reporting

The three-year cycle and certification body reporting obligations.

The training video is required for an auditor to be listed on the register and to be able to audit.

The video module is reserved for registered PolyCert Food auditors and requires a one-time training fee of €300, invoiced through your certification body.

A third-party certification scheme for recycled plastics intended to come into contact with food. Owned and governed by PolyCert Europe.
